Pro's Tip
The round is completed by the longest Par 4 on the course and is a very demanding hole where birdies will be rare, and even the better players will be pleased to record Par figures. With the hole being played completely in its own valley, the whole challenge is visible from the high tee. A mature tree group and two pot bunkers guard the right edge of the fairway, whereas the left edge is more open. However, with the green being protected on its left hand side by a lake and excessive bunkering, the right hand side of the fairway is the preferred position to attack the pin, and those opting out of the tee up the left edge of the fairway will leave a difficult, if not impossible, second if the green is to be hit in two. The majority of club players may well play the hole as a three-shot hole trusting for a good chip and single putt to achieve par.
